python-twisted-mail software package provides SMTP, IMAP and POP protocol implementation, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-twisted-mail
python-twisted-mail is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-twisted-mail package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-twisted-mail *
You will get with python-twisted-mail package name, version, architecture and description in a table
